Step 6: Scan the Matter QR code on the device or its packaging. Step 7: The device pairs - this takes 30-60 seconds. Step 8: Assign the device to a room and give it a name. Step 9: The device is now available on ALL Matter-compatible platforms that share the same hub. You can control it via Alexa, Google, and Apple simultaneously. Step 10: Create automations across platforms. Troubleshooting: if pairing fails, ensure the device is within 3 metres of the hub during setup. Move it closer and retry. If using Thread, Thread border router functionality must be enabled on your hub.
